The Venerable Ringu Tulku Rinpoche Ringu Tulku Rinpoche was born in Tibet in 1952. He is a Master of the Kagyu and Nyingmapa Orders of Buddhism, having been trained by H.H. the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and Dilgo Kyentse Rinpoche. He took his formal education at Namgyal Institute of Tibetologiy in Sikkim for 17 years. Since 1990, RInpoche has been teaching the Dharma in both Asia and in the West. In 1998 he founded «Bodhicharya» an international organization that co-ordinates activities that specifically serve to protect and transmit Buddhist teachings, to promote intercultural dialogue, and initiate educational and social projects worlwide. Rinpoche is now the spiritual guide and director of «Bodhicharya-France».
H.H. the 17th Karmapa. The Kagyu Lineage, which is based on oral transmission and practice, has uphelp an uncorrupted stream of blessings and realisation passing from teacher to disciple through the Lineage of Great Masters such as Tilopa, Naropa, Milarepa, Gampopa, who then passed it to his main disciple and student, the 1rst Karmapa. The 17th Karmapa, Orgyen Thrinley Dorje, was born in 1985 in Tibet. He was enthroned on 27th September 1992 at Tolung Tsurphu Monastery in Tibet in front of 20,000 pilgrims. In January 2000 hr fled Tibet to take refuge in India where he now lives, continuing his studies with the greatest Masters of the Buddhist Lineages.

The Venerable Bokar Rinpoche Born in western Tibet in 1940, Bokar Rinpoche left his country at the age of 20 to live in India with the Venerable Kalu Rinpoche, under whose direction he made 2 traditional three year retreats. His monastery is in Mirik, close to Darjeeling. Bokar Rinpoche became Kalu Rinpoche's Succesor and acted as the supreme head of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage. Bokar Rinpoche passed away suddenly on the 17th August 2004 in Mirik.
H.H. the 14th Dalaï Lama. The 14th Dalaï Lama Tenzin Gyatso, is Head of State of Tibet. He is said to be an emanation of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Love and Compassion. He is universally recognized as a great Buddhist Master and monk manifests unwavering wisdom and compassion, and is an untiring defender of the fundamental human values of justice and freedom without violence, for wich he received the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1989.
The Venerable Kalu Yangsi Rinpoche Kalu Yangsi Rinpoche was born in India on 17th September 1990. He was recognized as the Tulku of the former Kalu Rinpoche who passed away on 10th May 1989, and entroned on 28th February 1993 at his monastery in Sonada. He continues his education in Mirik where he is currently in three year retreat.
The Venerable Mogchok Rinpoche Mogchok Rinpoché is born in Lhassa in 1954. Three years later, he was recognised by Trijang Rinpoche as the tulku of Mogchokpa Rinchen Tseundru, a well-known Shangpa-Kagyu yogi of the 12th century. This recognition was later confirmed by His Holiness Dalai-Lama. Since the end of 1999, Mogchok Rinpoche teaches in France and is established in Marseille. Rinpoche will be teaching again in Lusse in 2010.
